The Vlaamse Volksbeweging is a pluralist pressure group founded in 1958. As its goal is an independent Flanders, you could say it has a radical viewpoint. It is on no account to be confused with the Vlaams Blok. But on the flag level, of course, both parties prefer the lion with black tongue and claws.

The flag of the VVB is similar to the official flag of Flanders, but the Flemish lion portrayed on the VVB flag differs from the official one by the lack of any red elements and the different design of the lion (more artistic).
This flag is very often seen during cyclist races, such as the Rond van Vlaanderen and the Tour de France.
